cant decide, Wheels or Exhaust!?!?
hey guys,
i was planning on getting my new wheels asap to save my chin spoiler from dings, until someone told me the diameter of the tires on the 20"s i was looking at is the same as the diameter on my 16"s tires, so now i dont feel as rushed, the combination of the tires and wheels is = to the cost of the headers, X pipe, and mufflers. so now i have to decide. if i go with the wheels then im gunna be rollin in a sweet stang with no sound. were if i go with the exhaust il have a sweet sound but il b rollin on 16"s... i am sorta feeling the exhaust now because i have yet to do any performance parts to my stang and after spending 55 hundred so far, i think it might be time for some "go" and not just "show". and also i keep my wheels clean so they are flashy even though stock, but what do you guys think, I CANT DECIDE! Performance and Sound or Looks and Traction?

I say go for wheels, such a nice bodykit and stock wheels just doesn't go bro LOL
If you're looking for performance get a tune and CAI...you won't get much from just headers and duals... Wheels and tires make a HUGE difference. Its really up to you tho bro, my duals were one of my last mods.

Man the front of you car looks tough but man those wheels look small. Wheels #1 priority.
Also what exactly can you do to the exhaust on a V6. I do know there is a dude at work that has one and its got duals and sounds kind of like a stock 8. But just seems like a waste if you want performance should have bought a gt.

well i couldnt get a gt, im 18 and this was my first car, so my parants got me a V6, but i like it this way, i never plan on selling my mustang, so now when i have children i can tell them i built my mustang from a stock V6 to a 5.4 V8, through sheer determination, sweat, and labor. itl be an awsome story, itl sound alot better then saying, "yea i was a spoiled rich white kid when i was 16 that had his parents buy me a GT and whatever i want." ...which is how my freind got his GT/CS after totalling two cars within a year...

Yeah figured that was the issue. The insurance would kill you. My parents were the same I got a 67 mustang with an inline 6 and put on rims and painted it Bannana yellow. Damn I wish I never would have sold it. Never sell the first car unless its a Honda accord etc.
