Ok so my dad is about to buy a 'stang but wants to know what kind of mods he can do with the leftovers. He doesn't want to turbocharge/supercharge it.

Its a black 08 GT vert. w/ tan top, black leather interior, tan plastic pieces, and metal up top around the a/c vents, and manual. So what would you do??? Think of it as a daily driver.

definitely stereo and wheels. make it unique and enjoyable. If he doesnt want to go all out with aftermarket speakers or subs at least a double din headunit is nice. I wouldnt have another car without one. And wheels will set you off from the million other mustangs out there.

Long tubes, tune, cai, and gears + install. That, my friend, is what you do. If he doesn't want to do that, I believe penile enlargement surgery cost about the same

What he said. Add some dynomat in the mix for less noise/rattle and he would really enjoy it. Then spend the rest on a CAI & Tune, and a full exhaust.

CAI/TUNE
offroad x pipe and borla stingers
Lower control arms, lowering springs, panhard bar/brace, adjustable UCA
MGW STS
4.10 gears+install
stickier tires

all this should add up to roughly 3 grand, and turn the stang from a fast sportscar to an intimidating, but very driveable, beast.
