i have a few. I will change them up to keep it fresh- the shop owner says= i didnt think you would mind... i was like mind? **** you should have called me in for the shoot
you got the dyno over 400, was that on the tune they gave you? Or did you have other mods that pushed you over the 400 mark? I dont want it at 399. it 400+.
The tune that comes with the kit from Brenspeed dynoed at 388 / 367. Good tune, but a bit on the rich side. The 418 / 388 dyno is on the second and final dyno tune pull......
Supporting mods would be delete plates, JBA shorty headers, 4.10's.
Congrats....Allow me to make the wait a bit tougher for you....
Oh man, that was evil. You shouldn't do stuff like....
this!
FYI to winstang, my order came in two shipments. One from Brenspeed with the plugs, BAP, tuner, etc. And then the actual blower was dropshipped from Vortech in California. The Brenspeed package arrived a few days before the blower.

Mine is otherwise bone stock and its putting out over 400whp, so you won't have a problem. The shop that installed it only went to 5800rpm and got 397 out of it. I showed it to Seth at Brenspeed and he said it probably would have hit about 415 at 6500 where they dyno to. As you can see in Mike's dyno posted here, they went to 6300. Mine is running a 91 octane tune.

So your shop had to make adjustments to the brenspeed tune? hmm.. Seth was pretty adminent that the tune was perfect as is and not to touch it.. My shop will probably need to adjust it then. I have an xpipe jb shorty and 3.73

Actually, no....When my installer did the install, we loaded up the Brenspeed tune, and it fired right off, no issue. As a matter of fact, I am running the Brenspeed tune as we speak. But, I did have the car dynoed, to verify Air Fuel Ratio, and had it dyno tuned. No matter how good a tuner tune is, a dyno tune specific to your particular car is going to be better. That is why the dyno tune netted me 418 / 388. I am currently on the Brenspeed tune, as I feel it to be a bit more conservative, and I really don't need to push too hard, being a daily driver. You will be just fine with the Brenspeed tune, but you may want to arrange for a dyno, just for A/F verification piece of mind.....JMO.....
