sooooo... I have to disassemble the old for those few little parts.. I tossed the idea of just buying those new from Ford but you know how it goes.. "we can't find the part, we have to order the part, the part cost $30+ for one little plasic piece" etc etc. ugh.

I already have the car in the air now, wheels off, all set to go in the morning.
HAHAHA dude I found out the hard way! Drove around for oh... 2500 miles before I started hearing some weird cracking noise. Didn't even know what the isolators were til the shop pointed out what I DIDNT have on.

man, I'm just gonna be thrilled with getting these new shocks/struts/springs/panhard on. I've been dealing with this "spongemobile" suspension for way too long

just got the rear springs out, put the new ones in the rear. now I need to hold the rear shock body while I unbolt it. hard to find a "friend" to do that for you on a friday night... argh! I need either a wife or a kid or a family member here in my adopted city of austin, TX!!!

no wait, I don't want any of those here lol.

I'm gonna have to put this thing on hold till tomorrow when I can find someone to assist unless anyone has pointers on doing this job alone Check out the rear stockers to steeda comps:

funny... bill's pics show his rear springs vs. the steeda ultra-lites. they look to be progressive while the Steeda comps I have don't look like progressive springs... hmmm...
