Default If you were gonna buy a new mod this week...

If you were gonna buy a new mod this week that had to be cheap (under 200); what would you get? I have most of my mods listed on sig. The car is daily driven but it does go to the track every once in a while and i might start taking it to shows but not sure yet. I was think performance, exterior, or handling. No under hood or interior stuff.

For two bills I would get the che k member brace and the torque limiters. Both together are just under $200.

What would the installation run on those parts? I have been thinking about pulleys. How much would i really get out of the pulley?

How much would K member and torque limiters help?

Ok, so two for suspension and one for performance.......

I am going to drop the car soon(hopefully) so i guess added suspension would be cool.

I would think of the K brace and limiters as a performance mod instead of a suspension mod because I hate missing second!

The CHE K member brace and the torque limiters, which are purchased separately but should be installed together, basically limit engine movement under "spirited driving" and maintain driveline geometry.

I don't know about you but under full throttle I sometimes miss second gear and at first it made no sense because I was performing the shift motions just fine. But the driveline flex causes a misalignment of the remote shifter the S197s have. The K-member brace and limiters keep everything still.

We put Pulleys on a friends car and it made a SLIGHT difference, but I have a sound system that draws a decent amount of power and I wouldn't want my alternator turning any slower that it already does.So I probably won't ever do pulleys unless I get some kind of aftermarket 200amp alternator.

Also, it is quite a bit more involved to perform the installation.

you said your gonna drop it soon right? Well if your gonna do that, make sure if you end up getting the lower control arms, you either buy adjustables or get the relocation bracket. but either of those solutions will put you over 200.

you could just get the springs for 200. Well 209 to be exact for the FRPP lowing springs from brenspeed. i havent looked around more, but that price seems resonable.
