Don't forget to add the 4 ounces of friction modifier for a Traction-Lok axle. Good luck.

how would i know if it was the clutch making that smell? the smell only last for at most a minute after i down shift and punch it. but still makes me think that something is leaking or burnt up. im just tryin to figure out where before i take it to the dealership and have there guys try to find it. i know i would get the infamous "no problem found" from the them.

If it only lasts for a minute or so after you down shift and punch it, it's most likely clutch... and why would you drain and refill the diff for a smell like that?
