Mikey, I would feel pretty confident guessing that the gain would not be enough to push you over the edge with the trans more than you already are.

The 5R trans has been holding up in Saleen SC cars in the 10's so I think you are fine.

Its your car though.

Why not just replace it when/if it breaks?

Didnt mean to call Hamm out, so I hope he isnt mad, but I am 99% sure he posted his experience here.

You see Hamm and I both have a Whipple HO and these are N/A cams so we have some different tuning issues than most do. He was just holding out for the tuners to figure these things out so he has perfect driveability.

Thanks mikeysGT! These cams definitely bump the funness factor up a few marks.

I'd like to see the mustang that gets 35-40mpg just to say I saw one... and then laugh at the civics who tout their fuel efficient power

I admire the technology that goes into those fast Hondas, but at the end of the day, my car sounds so much better and that to me is worth driving a "slow" car.

I couldn't stomach driving a car that sounded like a dremel tool.

At the end of the day that's all that matters . Fast (read: annoying buzzing sound) imports for the most part don't get much respect or positive attention. Nothing like american muscle.
