FRPP Hot Rod Impressions
 

Got em installed and tuned correctly finally (PS. Do NOT use bamachips for cams).
First thing I have to say is that these things sound AMAZING. I still have my cats on so they're not too loud but still loud enough to turn heads from 2 lanes of traffic over. Picked up some decent power throughout the entire powerband, driveability is not affected at all, and exhaust note has a deeper, fuller sound to it.

I'll try to borrow a scanner from someone and post my dyno chart up but I'm making pretty impressive gains with the mods I have:
Bassani Catted X/ Race AB
Steeda UDP
CnL Racer Intake
4.10 gearing
FRPP Hot Rod Cams
Dyno Tuned at ADS in Chandler.
Dyno #'s in sig.

Pretty satisfied with the power I'm making considering I have yet to change the headers, economy deletes, or driveshaft.

did you notice a significant MPG loss?

So far, if there is any loss, I can't tell. The needle hit 3/4 at about the same mileage as it always does. Won't know til I fill up at the gas station, although this tank will include the dyno pulls and me enjoying my new toy

What problems did you run into with the Bama tune? I'm thinking of doing cams this summer and there are no tuners anywhere close, so Bama is pretty much my only option.

Wow, I think I've waited long enough now and just need to drop my deposit off.... :D But D, have you experienced any of the reported problems that we have all read about i.e. idle is erratic and surging up and down, stalling, loss of low end torque, etc. Any worries on passing emmissions tests where you are ?? Ford advertises gains of 30 more Hp without their CNC heads and an additional 50 HP gain with them.Unfortumately, some of the guys around here are getting only 15 HP more.
