Hitting the rev limiter is not bad for the engine. Although it is not ideal, the rev limiter was put in place to protect the motor. It is just a safe guard built into the tune as a precaution to prevent engine damage. So no, it will not hurt your car to hit the limiter, it is just better not to.

I think they are wondering if hitting the limiter is any worse after loading the tune. Since the limiter has been raised from the stock setting.

No, the rev 6800 rpm rev limiter is still at a safe rpm and will not hurt your engine. Sorry about the confusion.

forgot to mention that in a week or 2 once my taxes come in i'll be getting a Zex kit from you guys. Any recommendations with this or tips? Also should/will i get a different tune with this?
