Default Installing front shocks with aftermarket springs.

About a year ago I had steeda sport springs installed on my mustang.

Last week I installed rear shocks myself... and was surprised at how easy the process was... I was also impressed with the results.

I was going to have someone else install the front shocks.. but am considering doing it myself now.

I know you need a spring compressor and such when taking off the OEM springs.. but I wasn't sure if the shorter Steeda springs would need that kind of "care" during the removal process when I install the front shocks.

My question... with the Steeda springs.. will they be compressed enough to break my face if try to install the shocks myself?... or will it be a simple slide out.. slide back in procedure (like it was with the rear shocks/springs)?

I know w/ the Steeda springs you can compress them down by hand to install the strut mount so I would imagine you can take them off the same way. On the other hand why not just rent a set of spring compressors from Autozone for free and be safe. As far as the install goes it's very easy to do yourself, I did my front ones twice in the past week....
