Default New Grill Pony

Hey guys, thought I would share an excellent product I got from a guy on eBay. He makes custom pony emblem covers for our mustangs that are either hand painted or have the same quality of hand painting at 1/10 the cost that I have seen anywhere else. I ordered a running skeleton cover for my mustang and asked for some minor modifications which he did without any second thoughts. I got it today and installed it and I cannot stress enough what great quality it is. These pictures do not do it justice as my camera is crap, but this emblem cover looks like it is hand painted. The best part is that it is only temporary if you decided you didn't like it at some point (very unlikely for me anyways).

Here is another better shot up close. He paints the emblem with your desired design and the applies 3-4 coats of clearcoat. The cover itself is a very thin plastic that adheres with doulbe sided tape. His name is Jim and his email is jimnkathye@msn.com. He no longer can list these on eBay because he got a letter from ford regarding trademark infringement and is awaiting them to send him info on how to become licensed to sell them, but he does still make them on the side . I paid $12.95 for this one which I said before, looks hand painted and other web sites wanted like $160.00 for a "painted" one. I think the skeleton pony is actually a decal similar to those you apply on a model car with water. He has to cut it out and align all the bones then embed it in a layer of clearcoat before layering several more coats on top of it. Let him know that Bryan sent you to him if you are interested.
