very nice write up on the headers tho. very informative.
To be honest with you, not really. When you first start the car up, it vibrates a little. But that's about it.

If you can beat realstreetperformance's price ***** Ill drop my car off for you to install my AR LT, they are one of the best fits out of the LT from the info I had gathered so there wont be the problems such as above.

Stainless actually doesn't dissipate heat very well. That wasn't the reason for having a difficult time trying to bend the pipe. Stainless is a very hard metal. Very difficult to manipulate, bend, shrink, expand, etc. The metal also has a much higher melting point. Brakes, presses, benders, other machines used to form stainless are stressed more than if the machine was bending carbon steel. The main element in most types of stainless is chromium, second is nickel......both very hard metals.

IMHO, the only way your going to get that pipe away from the steering linkage without modifying the linkage would be:

1) remove the header and use a BFH (big ****ing hammer) and try to dent the pipe in a little. I wouldn't want to do this to a new header.

2) cut that specific tube up, and weld in a slightly different position.

3) tell Boost Bros, to send you a new header with the updated bend.
