Did you install that Spec clutch along with the whipple or did you try using the stocker for a while? How did it hold out if you did?
I put 8,000 miles on the stock clutch after the blower, but it was probably slipping the whole time and I didn't start feeling it until trying to pass in 3rd gear.

If you are going to the track on the stock clutch, then everyone says it won't last long. I made 2 passes on the stock clutch, but took off easy on both. I didn't want to find out the hard way if they were right.

I don't see why the engine would need to be dropped after a supercharger install to replace the clutch. If thats the case then all the more reason to get it done first.
Because the transmission hit's the transmission tunnel when you try to move it backl. You can't tilt the motor back because the blower hits the firewall. Lowering the motor isn't hard, just 4 bolts and a jack under the engine cross member.

Cool I'm gonna change it out for sure. On a scale of 1-10 how would you rate stock and spec stg 2 clutch for firmness. 10 being firmest.

I have the RST, is it worth the money? I dont know I have only driven one SC stang (mine) and I like it alot. Peddle effort is same as stock and it hold 800 ft lbs of torque.

That's exactly what I want something just as easy to use as stock. Might be worth the price then. Thanks!

Does anyone have any suggestions for a pillar gauge pods? The speed of sound one at brenspeed is pretty nice but its $130. Any other options that would look great out there?

If you mean pedal firmness, then I can't tell any difference.

SOS is the best gauge pod. It is worth the money. I love mine and it matches the interior perfect, because they use Ford trim peices.

Ok, so the difference between stock is that there isn't much play between engaged and disengaged then?

Cool, I'll probably end up getting that one then. Do you have any pics of how it looks in your car?

Made an appointment today to have the blower installed on April 23rd. Stage 3 with steeda tensioner and saleen extreme inlet tube. I'm going to hold off on the clutch and see how the stocker holds up for a while. Dave said it should be done that same day and I will be able to drive home that night. This will be the longest 3 weeks of my life.
