8.69 RWHP max gain at about 4600 RPM? Holy low crap, Batman! The article doesn't indicate if they loaded the FRPP tune and what grade fuel, however.

They did tune it. With the FRPP kit tuning is done through what they call the Pro-cal tool, a little black box with no adjustability, only a DIP-switch for "sock" and "tuned". The tune is for 91 octane.

Actually they changed the tool now. Its has a LCD display and you can change some properties on the tune such as tire size and axle gear.

Great to know, that little black box was a piece of junk. I hope the new one is more reliable too, I had one on a previous car and once in failed in the middle of a download. I had to tow the car to have it reflashed to stock.

I was thinking to do the same for the same reasons. I bought a 2006 certified and planned to add the M-FR1-MGT to keep the warranty on my car for has been hard to get my first Mustang and planned to select an extended warranty also. Is there any way to add some power, have some nice Mustang sound and keep the warranty without been a "gutless customer"? :-) Thnx in advance
