Just curious if anyone has had this done to their GT? I was looking into some upgrades that wont void the warranty and this is what was under the "ford performance" site that wont voide the warranty if you have the dealer install it.
Now it says its a 20HP upgrade but I've seen articles that cold air intakes are usually only about 5HP even if they says 15-20HP boost is this the case?
Would it be worth the nearly 1000 price tag? and if so what performance increase would you suspect to gain out of this?
Thanks

The tuner is not really adjustable in regards of timing and etc. However there are some settings that you can pick (tire size, axle ratio, and etc). You are better off getting another tuner and just get the intake for a lot cheaper.

you can just get a cai but would be as good as with a tune, your best bet is to wait and get this when you get the extra cash if this is the cai you want http://www.brenspeed.com/3000bullitt1.html

The FRPP CAI & tune in that package is the only power adder and MIGHT gain you about 15-20 RWHP. Their tune isn't typically as aggressive as those from Bama and Brenspeed which will get you more like 20-25+ RWHP. The exhaust might add a little noise. As far as warranty, don't get me started. Not getting warranty work due to an aftermarket CAI & tune is for gutless customers.

if money is a problem then just look for a used intake and used programmer.for example im selling a used bbk intake for 120 then you could find a used xcal 2 for about 150 and get a custom tune from bama for 50 bucks.doing this u just purchase the same hp for 320 dollars.and trust me brenspeed or bama tunes are gonna be much better than fords.By the way like they said before axelbacks dont net you any power just sound.
