Default 4.10's INSTALLLED ON FRIDAY

Can you tell Im PUMPED! I called the shop last week and asked how much he was getting the gears for. He said best he could find was $190, so I said Ill get the gears (Official FRPP 4.10a gears and I got them for $150. Hopefully I can put enough miles on the car in the next week to finish the breakin period. I wanna get on these boys baaaad. Whens the next track day? Bigger sidewall, wider tires, 93 tune, 4.10's??????

Now on to the techinal side of this amazing post. I am still trying to get my speedo corrected with the bigger tires. I am running a 295/40/20 Nexen Roadian HP tire....and most tire calculators say the revs per mile is like 265-270 or something like that. But the thing is when I compare my speedo to my GPS, the speedo says Im going 5-7 mphs faster than the GPS. Anyone got any tips on how to get this as close as possible.

Oh yeah, and Im getttin Justin from VMP to Dyno my car on April 11th so I can get some real #'s....WOWOWOWOWOW

Im pumped....now I can take a breath lol

265-270 Rev's/mile? I have a 295/30/18 and I had to put my rev's up to 830 to get spot on, on the speedo.

I had one site tell me 689 so I set it to 690 but it is still off according to my Tom Tom. Any ideas on how to judge it? I know the GPs is not always acurate

At 690 how much further off are you? The spreadsheet doesn't account for the 3% or so shorter overall wheel diameter due to the car sitting on the tires.

710 might be closer.
