Default New 2010 Mustang

So I was messing around on Ford's website the other night and noticed that when you build and price your mustang it has a lot more options than normal. EX. you can buy a mustang with 3.73 or 3.55 LS already in the rear end. Other nice little things you can do is get your stangs appearence modded, with louvers and various other stuff like hood scoops and what not. IMO it is a good move by Ford to do this because used to when you first bought a stang you would fimmediately begin to mod it out and ford was losing money. Now you can mod it before it is delivered therefore they are making more money off of their vehicles. I just thought I would share my two cents, and see what yall thought about it.

They talked about having 400 hp and 500 hp supercharger options during the release. I wish you could have built the car with these options as well. Apparantly, these will be installed by the dealerships.

yes, I priced one with the Built it Now thing and got a into $35,000+ territory! Ouch! But i really want the Glassback roof and big rims!
I can really see the V6 2010 Mustang as becoming even more popular! Will those have a supercharger option also?

I love the look of the car from a side profile, the back and front are still growing on me.

This does seem like a very good move on Ford's part if this is true, why not get a piece of the aftermarket right out of the factory to make more money that would be spent anyway and give the customer the satisfaction that all the parts were factory backed.

I still think Ford needs to allow for custom builds, like in the old days, and have all that stuff installed at the factory. Doing so would mean the parts would all show up on the Build Sheet, plus it could create more jobs in Detroit!

The best thing would be fewer questions on the Forums asking "how do I install this thing?"!!! Ha Ha!
