fading triming

fading triming
So the past couple of washes I noticed that the trim around my windows is getting faded and/or almost white. I figure it is my fault for doing a sloppy job waxing my car but now I want to know how I can make them look "like new". I do use armor all to keep it bright but it doesn't last long. Any ideas on how to fix this or maybe some better trim care product. Thanks for any help

DO NOT USE ARMORALL!!!!! Especially on leather. It dried my seats out so bad. If you have wax residue, a little bit of peanut butter on a terry cloth will help to take it off. then wash the area and either apply wet tire shine, mothers back to black, or turtle wax ice. To me, the turtle wax ice wax looks the best on the trim. Take all your armorall stuff and throw it in the garbage. i use lexol for my leather, meguires interior detailing wipes for the plastics and such and optimum no rinse to wash the outside. Meguires gold class is also a good exterior car wash.

Thank you guys. yeah I normal don't use armorall but it was part of a christmas gift so I had to be nice and use it (at least when they're around). I do use gold class wash and I was really thinking about back to black so I will have to stop by the auto shop later tonight. Thanks once again

One more for Mothers Back to Black Also note that Back to Black is great on plastics like head light and tail lenses.
I found this out when I had some goo on my 3rd brake light and I thought Id be smart using orange hand cleaner to remove it. I scratched the *^#!! out of the lense leaving that awful white haze. Back to Black conditioned the plastic and brought it back good as new!
