Its crickets for the 2010 in my town

It’s hard enough to sell Mustangs right now let alone one that is not executed very well.
When I bought my 09 last November my dealer wasn’t moving many Mustangs but they still had all their Mustang stock front and center in their lot. After I bought my Mustang, they moved their entire Mustang inventory to the back lot, next to the body shop. Pretty sad looking group all covered with dust and water spots. Kind of reminds me of the junk yards of the 60s, all it needs is the weeds growing up around them. At least I saved one of them from that fate.

I think labeling the 2010 Mustang as "fail" simply because of the restyling is a bit much. Having seen the car in action, I think it flows pretty well....especially with the factory ducktail spoiler equipped (I don't think the 2010s look as slick with the spoiler delete...JMO) And as Steele pointed out.....everything about this GT (despite it still packing the same 3V 4.6) is faster, better, and more refined than any GT to date. It will hold its own, and the new 5.0 will make it that much better.

I think all of us should keep in mind that we on these boards represent a small percentage of Mustang owners, and despite our love of these vehicles, we are not who Ford attempts to market and sell to. Average Joe Shmoes' out there who are looking for a sporty car with above average power and cool looks are the type that are being targeted. Thats who these cars are meant to please and attract. Enthusiasts like us will always be in the market for these cars, we need no convincing.
