I did mine on my last mustang. The car was a bit dirty but oh well. I have not done my new car yet but I am considering it. BTW: this was the kit fro PepBoys (actually any parts store).

I painted mine a couple summers ago using the Duplicolor kit at Autozone.

It's starting to peel in spots so I am going to re-do it this spring.

Here's how mine looked when I first painted them.

Please guys, paint the hats on the rotors. You do all the work to make the calipers look nice and then stare at the gray rotor. I used the dupicolor kit for the calipers but used the G2 kit for the rotors. Been on almost a year and a half now and still looks good

I painted mine with the G2 kit last summer, but It seems like every time I rub my car wash sponge on them (even lightly) they seem to chip. It's really bothering me. They still look awesome painted though.

Not a bad idea.. I still plan to replace the rotors, just not for a few months at least.. didn't think to do anything to the rotors, although I was eyeing the outter rim and thinking about it.. Perhaps when I get new ones I will paint the 'hat' before installation..

That's a little discouraging.. how many miles do you put on it per year? I had hoped that the 2 part paint would hold up better than the other stuff out there..
I suppose if it ever starts to chip I will just replace the rotors with a big brake kit...

Looks good. Where did you get the Mustang lettering?

Thanks. I got the decals from Grabberpony.com.

Did you prep the calipers before you painted them? I've had the G2 on my rotors for over a year now and no chips at all.

Agree.....mine chipped a little bit...and then they sent me a "fix it kit....and the epoxy was hard as a rock when I got it....so needless to say the chip is still there

I used the Dupli-Color kit on mine. The paint held up very good. But I cleaned the calipers well before applying the paint.

Yea that is the trick , The paint will stick better if you can clean the caliper really good , I took a wire brush to mine
