Just ordered my 4.10's!!!!!
Well, I was going back and forth for my new gears between 3.73's and 4.10's and decided on 4.10's as I drive mostly city. I think I'm really gonna love the difference between 3.55's and 4.10's. Cant wait to get them in!!! :)

i think you made the right choice. not sure
you would even feel enough difference going from 3.55 to 3.73. let us know how you like them |
Where did you get them from?
|
Having mine installed tomorrow and wednesday!
|
I had mine installed a few weeks ago. You'll love them, esp. in the city. Highway driving isn't affected too much but the higher revs are def. noticeable if you usually cruise at 75 or 80.

is the best price I've found $150 shipped, plus they take lower offers. This is one of Ford's main distributors for Ford Racing parts in Michigan. I love my 4.10's, especially on the highway. Drop it into fourth, right in the power band, and watch the smile on your face grow and the cars get smaller in your mirror. |
Thanks guys, I'm sure I'll be happy with them. I bought them from late model restoration. $259 with install kit, master bearing kit, royal purple gear oil, frpp friction modifier, and of course frpp 4.10 gears. Best price and most complete kit I could find.

Is the friction modifier necessary with royal purple?
Brenspeed's website seems to say no. |
Good deal man! Mine go in on the 10th (3.73s though). I'm curious to see how they do compared to my 3.31s.

Brenspeed's website seems to say no. Which brand gears did you get? Ford racing right? Are you installing them yourself or having someone install them for you? |
