RE: I need to go on a diet
Yup. I lost 50lbs so far. Got another 20 to go. It's better for the car and you! I always thought it was interesting to go to the drag strip and look at the guys who had drilled holes in their brake rotors and all sorts of other crazy things when not eating cheese burgers every day would drop more weight without compromising the safety of the car. Usually these guys were 300 - 400 lbs.

Ok, that makes perfect sense, now on the new GT 40, the holes in the seat....

holes in brake rotors are not for weight purposes. When you hit the brakes at high speeds, the pads release gasses which can keep them from contacting the rotors properly. The holes vent those gasses so the brakes work better. Slots do the same thing.
good luck losing some weight though.

I am 6' 190lbs... not that bad but when the seat belt locks down in a turn and I have to think about how to make it let go of me in the straight a way...then again I could always tone up a little around the middle[sm=smiley30.gif]
