also use the "its for safety" line. that includes suspension for "safer handling" in an emergency. tinted windows so the sun doesnt blind you. more power so you can "safely" merge into traffic. bigger brakes for "safer stopping." and when you do it say its all for her because you love her and want to be alive with her for the rest of your life..

So, to paraphrase the numerous responses....

1) CAI+tune might gain me a couple of MPG.
2) I'm not the only smart@ss on this forum.
3) I've lost my man card years ago and don't know where to find it.
4) Some of you have no hope of ever maintaining a working relationship with a woman.
5) Some of you have the perfect relationship with your women.
6) If it weren't for Margaretta Girl being a Patriots fan I'd be in love with her.

and last but not least:

Jprog7 will be the architect for my next house!

Thanks one and all.

I don't see that. I guess it's because I use Firefox w/ ad blocking plugins.

That's still pretty funny though.

O its nice to be single. I get to spend what ever I want on whatever I want To bad I don't have that much to spend.

The CAI combo you can get away with. You could sell a drive shaft as well. If you do a lot of city driving you could do gears. You could chance new rims "because they are lighter."

Like stated above you could go with the safety thing and lower it and get 10's all the way around for better handling.

Oh I'm not single, my girlfriend and I have been together for over 8 years now, and living together for about 3. We keep the finances separate. I believe that is part of the reason why its been good and lasted this long. I don't say anything when she buys stuff, and shes doesn't say anything when I buy stuff. As long as the house is paid for, the lights are on, and food is on the table, theres just no reason for commentary on the subject. Money seems to bring out ugliness in people, I've seen it first hand in the past. I would say that in 95% of the cases of divorce I've witnessed among friends/family/etc, that money was the root cause.

I always laugh when I read these kind of threads as I couldn't imagine having to hide or persuade my husband to let me buy mods for the stang. If the money's there I don't even have to ask. I guess that could be due to the fact that I owned a Mustang when I met him so he was well aware of my hobby and spending well before we walked down the aisle. Good luck on the convincing!
