Just curious since noone else has asked. You said it was a 05 GT, but had the mycolor lighting. AFAIK this was only an option on the like 07+. I find it hard to believe everything else is stock on the car, but the guy would have went through the trouble of updating the cluster to support it.

So just wondering what the story with that is. Did this 05 really come with the mycolor option, did he install it, or what?

My Color has been an option on Mustangs since 05.

My 06 has it and my mother in laws 05 GT has it too.

As far as the cup holder/ mood lighting on the floor bizniss......I have no idea when that started, but my buddys 08 has it.

My car is an '06 and has the MyColor instrument panel. Maybe you're mistaking the MyColor option for the Interior Color Accent (or whatever it's called) option, which may have only been available on '07's+

yea i have an 05 and it has Mycolor.... works great but the ambient lighting wasn't available until 07. BTW I have 65k miles on my clock and the car runs like it's brand new. I recently repainted my front bumper and hood, my old man owns a dealer so he hooked it up. Honestly my car is 05 and is cleaner than almost every stang i see. Not one dent, and only one scratch plus it's my DD. Good luck with your car, like everyone says, it's an addiction, just like every car I have had. Does your car have any rattles..... my car had a terrible dash rattle but i fixed it thanks to some guy on this forum who showed me that the rattle was actually brought to the attention of ford. It was a TSB and $12 later, my car was silent again

I would start with 17 and go from there...it looks great....but what sold me was the fact it has "variable intermittent wipers" holy jesus!

I paid $50 more for my 07 gt premium with half the miles
Still congrats! Enjoy the car man, and try not to spend all your money on mods!
