to glassback or not to glassback...
 

I found a pretty good deal on a glassback roof for $900 new. They sell from ford for like $2k. Although its a good deal is it something worth doing? Will it bring the value up or down on my saleen?

With install? i LOVE how it looks and wish i had it. If its 600 installed new, ill take it

The only thing i have against glassbacks is i hear they can get pretty hot where i live in this part of socal, i don't know how hot it gets in your part of california but potential buyers may put it into consideration. Although the initial shock of how cool it looks would probably overcome that.

i dont like glassbacks, if i changed my roof id try and get a T top, i like t-tops on camaros and trans ams. but i dont think itd look good on a mustang... but my dads T-top on his camaro is tight, it gets hot though... and although i never plan on flippin my mustang, i still dont want to take the chance of having a glass roof shatter on my ass

alo, if u stripped ur mustang down the line it wouldnt look right...

I personally like the glassbacks on black mustangs - looks real clean. I'm in socal and dont see it getting that hot, you can always tint too if the light becomes a bother
