Hey,

Wondering if you guys know if anyone offers a carbon fiber cover for the saleen supercharger? I want to somehow get the Saleen words covered and wanted to go the carbon fiber route. Also, would any heat build up it I covered it?

If there is nobody offering a cover in carbon fiber:

I could take it off, unhooking all the hoses attached to the upper portion and grind the letters off; then get it polished and reattach all the hoses: do you guys see any problems with that? Is disconnecting the hoses and taking the top portion off a problem? I mean will it affect the super charger in anyway?

I would not pay a grand, maybe $300-400 max is what I would pay or around there. Are you talking about a cover I assume then and are you serious about this? If so shoot me a PM with details and we can talk more about it.

why dont you like the letters? A cheaper way to make one would be to create it out of plastic then cover the plastic in a carbon fiber vinyl to get that look. real carbon fiber covers are pointless.
