you're not looking for a chip with the s197, you're looking for a good cold air intake (cai) and tuner combination. there are quite a number of excellent choices that generally net 15-25 hp: a definite, noticeable increase in power. personally, i have a sct2 tuner, bbk cai and a custom brenspeed tune. if you do a forum search, you will discover a plethora of information that will help you make the right decision for your needs.

+1 what ink003 said.

Check the Brenspeed and Bamachips websites for info on their CAI & tune combos. They're 2 of the more popular vendors and their tunes and customer support are top notch. The combos are very easy to install (videos on the websites) and in addition to RWHP gains, they also reduce or eliminate throttle lag and greatly improves auto tranny shifting. Typical price range for the combo is $550-$700 new and is the biggest bang-for-the-buck short of going FI. If you contemplate buying used, beware. You can get some great bargains but also you may get stuck with a useless tuner.

Where do you live in Cali? Depending on where, I'll tell you where to go...

As long as you don't use the word 'superchip' ever again...lol

JLT or Tunable inductions is probably the best bang for the buck!! Anything C&L is good too but more expensive!! Steeda is nice with a carbon fiber elbow but again probably more than 75-100 bucks than the JLT or TI!! There's lots of choices so i laid out the most popular ones!!
