I've thought about this too.

Because of the design of Saleen's Super Shaker and where the air filter is and TB, I just wonder if you could reverse the intake manifold (like modaddict is doing for his TT setup and not necessarily the stock manifold) and somehow fab something so that the Super Shaker (or similar) could plug into the reversed manifold giving a true ram air setup.

It seems like to me all you'd have to do is fab up a manifold that is similar is design to the saleen s/c'er but with no screws.

Easier said than done I'm sure, LOL.

Or perhaps do something like this:

Where you have a big scoop like that that IS the throttle body and fab a tunnel ram style manifold like in that pic, integrate the fuel injectors into it and somehow add a filter to the whole thing.

Dang, if I only knew how to fab crap like this.

These ideas may not end up turning out, but it would be fun to experiment anyway.

Well, I say GO FOR IT!!! But I am partial....

I don't think the CDC really improved performance, but did lower intake temp which can't hurt. It just looks so dang awesome IMHO, and I just couldn't stop staring at it when started or floored it to watch the engine torque.

I can definitely feel the improvement with the SuperShaker LOL
