Default good place for an amp?

i bought a really nice $400 polk amp for my sub (which will be going in in about a week or so) and i want to make sure i put my amp somewhere that its not going to burn up. What is a good place for an amp in these new body mustangs?

i dont care if it can be seen or not, i just want to be able to use my trunk still. I'm probably stuffing the sub in the left indent in the trunk (with correct volume proportioning of course) and in a sealed box. (its a 10" sub btw) But yeah this is my daily driver, and i DO use my trunk quite often and i dont want it to be in the way of being usable. Plus i snowboard, so sometimes a wet snowboard gets thrown in my trunk. Any Ideas?

BTW- your car looks great

this is a bad idea, because the bass of the sub can damage the amp.

thats not a bad idea, but i had two other thoughts, let me know how bad of ideas they are-
1. on the trunk wall to the left right in front of the "cubby"
2. on the right side of the trunk mounted vertically on the trunk wall in the other cubby.

I wouldn't be able to mount it to my box because my box is going to be in the left cubby anyway.

If those are bad ideas i guess i'll just follow your lead and throw it on the back of the seat

In the trunk, on the underside of the rear parcel shelf - For The Win.
Up and out of the way and partially hidden from tall theives.

Where do you go boarding that you can get there in your stang? I don't even know if my board would fit in mine. What size board do you ride? I would install it in the spare tire well.
