yes a new tune will be required. For the headers providing more flow and the catless mid pipe

i am not sure if this is from everyone sells jba's or just american muscle, but when i bought my jba's they did not have the header gaskets, you will need those, as well as the o2 extensions, i don't recommend the o2s from american muscel, not long enough, buy the bbk o2s from jegs, same price as american muscle, but the bbk are about 4in longer, also a couple of bandaids and alcohol to clean the scrapes you will probably get on your hands

13mm ratcheting wrench.
13mm & 15mm deep well sockets.
Do the prothene mounts at the same time.

You need an angled gear wrench that fits your header bolts. My header bolts were 8mm, but mine are bassani's. Not sure about your's. Seriously, if you don't have gear wrench with an adjustable angle on it, don't even try this...unless you've got a couple days to kill.

I thought you could re-tune to disable the o2 sensors so you didn't need the o2 extensions.

You can disable the rear O2 sensors, not the front. There have been reports of some people having their tuner permanently disable the CEL for front O2's. But you can't disable them.

I installed JBA shorty headers last week. They did not come with gaskets, but the directions said to reuse the stock gaskets and also add some high temp sensor safe rtv to it. I bought some copper RTV from advance auto parts and put it on both sides of the stock gasket and on the header mating surface. I used a 1/2" flex head wratcheting wrench to remove the stock manifold nuts and a 5mm socket to remove the manifold studs. You will also need an 18mm socket in order to break loose the steering rack. You will need blue locktite for reinstalling that bolt as well. It took me about 3 days to install mine, but i was taking my time and i had some of my manifold studs get stuck which stopped all progress for ~6 hours.
