I am in the same boat.. only 4,500 miles on my 06.. but coolant doesn't really care about mileage.. it WILL go bad no matter what.. trust me..!!! I have seen it.. it may check OK.. but it will still deteriorate inside.. believe it or not.. lol

The Ford service schedule calls for changing based on time or mileage, whichever comes first.

For the factory fill, 6 years or 100,000 miles.

For subsequent fills, every 3 years or every 50,000 miles.

hahaha anyways..... what do we do if our coolant level reads a tad low? drain it all then put in the 50/50 recommended mix? or just top it off

If it's just a bit low then top it off according to the manual's instructions. You don't want to mix coolant types so if it is the Ford factory fill then you need to get the right stuff and not mix it up with Prestone. Also, if your levels keep getting lower then you need to watch for leaks.

Just mix 50/50 coolant/distilled water in a gallon jug and top it off. I flushed and filled mine when I installed the blower. I used the Ford stuff, but will be going to prestone next time. I don't like the gold coolant.

Water wetter is made by redline and whipple recommends it in their instructions. I used it, but honestly don't think it makes a flipping bit of difference.
