ok. well its time for me to upgrade. i have auto 07 mustang gt. and i found a 5 speed tranny out of a mustang. im going to do a swap and i need some help. what else do i need with the tranny? i have a clutch and flywheel already, do i need a different driveshaft? i know i need wireing, a pedal, and shift **** and stuff. what else do i need? please helpp!!

Alright!!!!!!......I can't help with the info but please keep us updated.....I want to do this too. Also, keep a tab on how much you are spending if possible. I understand you have a tranny already but I am wondering what it takes as well.

I always see our manual transmissions for cheap and always wondered what it would take. I'm guessing besides all the actual manual pieces, just a computer flash? Anytime anyone brings it up people just say not worth it, too expensive, trade yours in for a manual, but I'm real interested in a swap myself like Mustangs4U. Keep us updated!

i got a great deal on the tranny. $900 for it with 15 miles on it. it was driven to the shop. taken out and i found it on ebay and took the deal, here is a pic from the seller on ebay.
it was shipped out yesterday so i should get it soon.
