Hey Guys,

I'm sure most of you are familiar with Newtakeoff.com.

I called to ask about the takeoff GT leather kits they have, and turns out it is had... past tense. They are officially out of GT Takeoff leather kits and have no idea if the 2010+ mustangs's interior leather will swap over to the 2005-9 V6's.

If you were lucky enough to order a kit while they were available, lucky you. If you are like me, a big procrastinator... welcome to the SOL club. Jasoon, Founding member.

You scared me...I read through your post too quickly and thought newtakeoff.com went out of business or something.

Sorry about your bad luck. Ebay/craigslist?

Some people have complained on the quality of factory leather and how bad they wear. I couldn't tell you, I have cloth.

There are other aftermarket solution that offer different leather options that you may find you like even more.

The factory leather wears kinda crappy. I have the red interior and it scratches easy and starts to crack real easy. Loved the leather in my G35 though, that stuff was awesome.

I second this. I have the Red interior and I barely drive my car, and it is Showing some noticeable signs of wear.

I agree - the leather isn't that great. What companies produce better leather covers or leather seats for our mustang?

I talked with Corey from New take off a few weeks back and at that time he said stuff was running out ,, if you look on the site there are a few things missing anymore ,, I bought the cloth seats as replacements , Maybe I should get a spare set also ,,
