I'd keep the 05 because it's the first year of this model. Sonic blue isn't coming back either. I think that will make it a little more desirable in the future. I could care less about resale value though. I bought the car because of what it is.

I wanted my 05 in part as well because it is the first year out. I am planning on keeping it untill they no longer sell gasoilene and we have to make our own to drive our high powered gas hoggs!
Some day, my grand kids are going to fight over who gets the car.

Yes I will trade mine in a heartbeat. If anyone knows of a dealer inerested in trading an '06 for my '05 they got a deal, if they can live with the barely noticeable small little bitty scratch in the rear quarter panel.

I feel lucky!!
Flew to Vegas and bought mine in April for 3% UNDER sticker. Drove it home and really enjoyed going to my local dealership and showing them what an 05 mustang looked like

Ya' know, so many people are saying how so many dealers are asking thousands of dollars over sticker. I was wondering if anyone has actually paid OVER sticker. Nobody seems to be admitting to doing that.
Of course maybe the market adjustments are eventually talked down to MSRP.
We need to remember that it's the actual SALES price that counts, not the high sticker price.
I wonder if all those folks who have bought tiny little houses in the hot Los Angeles real estate market for $600,000 admit to it...
