+1. I think your Smart Junction Box needs to be replaced due to the infamous passenger side water leak. I'm sure its just a coincidence that this happened after you left your headlights on. If the battery was dead or weak, the car probably wouldn't have started.

My car did this same exact thing and it is because after driving in the rain or washing my car water was leaking into the passenger side footwell and getting the smart junction box wet. Take your car through one of those touchless car washes or soak the entire front end really well with a hose and then feel the carpeting on the passenger side along the kick panel to see if its damp. You should see a cover for a fuse box, this is where the Smart Junction Box is located. Remove that cover and feel inside to see if there is any moisture in the area or on the carpet padding. There is a TSB out for this problem and it is fairly common.
