Default Reboot the CPU in an 07's GT?

So last night I left my lights on at Hooters, I was notified pretty quick by some buddies who came up after me and I turned them off after about an hour or so. The car started fine and I didn't have any problems at all.

Well, about and hour later while driving the car all of the Check engine, Traction control and every other damn warning light came on, also my Tach and Speedometer took a dump and went flat, along with the Temp gauge.

I called the local dealership this morning and the guy suggested that the battery level was probably low and said that driving it all weekend should do the job and if it's still broke then just bring it in Monday morning. I've been driving it all morning and the battery seems fine now but then again it seemed fine last night.

Anywho. I think everything is fine, but I just need to maybe reboot/reset the on board computer? Should I do that? How do I do that?

The only thing you can do is disconnect the battery for 15 minutes and the hook it back up.

I thought these cars shut everything off after 20 minutes or so of inactivity.
I know my interior lights will go off if no doors are opened.
Never tried the headlights, but thought they do the same thing.

I'm thinking maybe the alternator was straining to recharge your battery back up maybe, dunno.

Well, all the warning lights were still on and the Tach and Speedo dead after driving it all day today. I just unplugged the battery. I'll put it back on in a few. Hopefully that'll reset everything. The car is still under warranty, I just hate to lose it for the time it takes to fix.

The radio and interior lights are the only things that shut off automatically when you rturn off the switch, remove the key and open the door.

It's strange that you started the car and everything was fine for about an hour and THEN it crapped the bed.

It does shut off the raido, but remember it doesnt shut the Amp off... so you will get a faster power drain if you leave the radio on when you turn off the car, not a problem if you drive it the next day, but it you let it sit for a week you might find a dead battery.
