Squeaking, clunking noise coming from underneath rear end...any ideas?
So every time, like clockwork, after driving my car for around 10 minutes this loud squeaking and clunking noise will come from underneath the rear end of my car.
I cannot pin point the noise because whenever I come to a stop the noise stops, so I cannot get out and check.
But from what I can gather it's coming from the black box looking part in between my exhaust. What is this part of the car and what does it do?

I bet the tip of of one of your ehhaust hangers is hitting the rear bumper support. I guess this because you said after 10 minutes it happens. I had to trim about a quarter inch off the end of one of my old GTA's cause the same thing. As the exhaust heats up if gets longer, I thought I had enough clearance but there was none after warm up.
