how much hp can a 05-09 mustang gt engine handle
 

im really curious on how much the stock 4.6 3v motor can handle safely
and could you maybe also tell me how much the trans can take and the drive shaft and the 8.8 rear end.

500 or a little over for the motor. The stock manual has handled over that, but not the clutch. You'll need a new motor and trans before a new rear end, so I wouldn't worry about it.

You said safe and that's my safe number. That should equate to 430-460rwhp on a manual car.

how long would the stock motor hold up with the ROUSHcharger® R2300 Kit without forgeing the internals??

Is that the Roush TVS blower? If so I'd say not long. ;) It comes with a pulley that makes way too much boost for a stock engine. Apparently there's no bigger pulleys since the solution people come up with is to add an under-drive pulley to lower the boost.

If the Roush blower you're talking about is not the new TVS, then ignore what I just said. ;)

According to this info the stock clutch is good for more HP than the engine (stock engine 525 HP & stock clutch 535 HP).

If the stock clutch is good for 535 HP why are people here reporting the clutch is the weak link and are replacing it with less HP and/or saying eventually if you go FI you'll have to replace it, while their engines are going strong?

Is it the way people drive? Are they slipping the clutch? I've been wondering if I'll have to replace mine in the future, but so far my stock clutch has no problems holding up.

Clutch is effected by how your car is hooking up. Sure the stocker will be fine when you are on street tires since the tires are going to spin before you over power the clutch. Starting burnouts in 2nd gear also heats the clutch up a lot before drag strip runs, so this can cause it to temporarily slip on the run.
