Default My new Bride~

Here is me and my new 09 Shelby Gt500, I just got her yesterday! Its my 5th mustang over the years, I love em! Is there anything that I might need to be aware of of my 1st few days of driving? Thanks.

Just as long as you don't try to bench press it I think you should be ok... :-)

Looks good, I'd just take it easy the first 500 miles, vary the RPMs and change oil before 1000 miles... other than that, enjoy!!

I say drive it like you own it....break in period is WAY overrated in these cars....Your break in period is the time it takes for the supercharger to start working, I believe mine kicked in after 35 miles.....as far as break in period these engines are already broken in according to svt. So dont sweat any break in period. You will get a little more ooomph as the car is driven over time. the cars come with full synthetic oil out the door..they reccommend your first change at 5,000 miles ( I did mine much earlier though) just enjoy your car...get used to the clutch hiss and shift away....
