Rubbing is bad. The 304 may hold up well, but the frame most likely will not.

I am going to go ahead and say that these headers are not quality and not because they do not fit well. Any certified welder should be able to reproduce these headers, we bought 321 SS straight pipe and U-bends and are to do the same thing and we are students, not professionals.

A quality header's welds should be grinded so smooth that a blind person should not be able to tell where it was welded.

I think the fittting issues should be the easier part to correct, then quality welding if a proper jig was made.

I hear ya, I will paint the frame where it's been rubbing so no rust will start forming. The fit is ****ty on the headers and that's a fact. The welds are perfect though. No complaints on those. Where you going to school?

Any update on the headers? Did you fix the fitment issue/rubbing? Is the system welded in yet/no more leaks?
