Default Deployed to Iraq bad, save money for modding good

Well, I am in Sal Sinjar Iraq. So far this month the elements have not been too kind. We either have dust storms or it rains and the camp gets muddy as hell. Anyway, this is the perfect time to save for mods. I plan on saving for the following: New Rims. Thinking about FR500s 18x9 (leaning towards black with silver lip), BFG KDW 2 255/45/18, Blisten shock and strut kit, new spark plugs (still have the old plugs), new clutch (old clutch is still working, but car has 52,000) I am not sure what clutch, as I am not sure if I will go FI in the future. M&H drag radials 275/50/17. I am still keeping my 17x8 rims. I may sell two of them.

I have just over 6mths to save and I am making an extra grand or so.

First off, be careful and thanks for serving. Don't forget about the tax advantages in being over there too. BTW, 52k is nothing on the stock clutch if you know how to drive. I've routinely gotten over 100k miles without any issue in several cars.

Yeah was definately worst a few years back 06-07 for me. I would have rather had dust storms and rain than constant IED's every convoy. Good luck over there and buy what you want and put the rest away. I've seen too many people blow it when they got back on drinking or stupid stuff.

Hey killer, have you heard of Op Security, you are not suppose to give locations or and information of around how long you have to stay there. THAT is a big no no, being deployed several times I know they give you briefs on this stuff. Other than that stay safe.
