Driving my g/f's V6 compared to my GT...

My point was, other then returning some friendly ribbing, we all have our own priorities and reasons for buying our cars.
Hopefully, with help and support from friends and family, and years of expensive therapy, I'll be able to sleep soundly through the night without waking in a cold sweat, knowing that some guy on the internet thinks my car is his car's gay little brother.
I love my car.

Lol. Nice thread. Ive never driven a v6, but i have to say my GT is a fun ride. Plus i only pay 310 a month including insurance, and i can see over 30 mpg highway if i really wanted to.

I know this guy with a Cobra and he told me that if it doesn't have a V8 then it's not a mustang.
Kinda an elitist attitude there but I'm sure he's not the only one who thinks that way. I think he might have a point if the original car hadn't been produced with a six. But it was AFAIK.

I just like to see the super/turbo charged 6's take the GT's. But what can I say i'm kinda partial.

Same here.....I owned a GT as well and sold it to a car collector. My V6 PP is all about show. I don't care how fast a GT goes because I mostly drive in the city. No point in have a bigger engine when you can't really use it.

My reasonable side agrees with you, totally - 100%. However my other side doesn't. However for the price I picked up the new 08 v8 compared to a 09 v6 I couldn't justify it in my mind :P

I have a 6 but it's kind of a guy thing to get an 8. It doesn't really matter if you can't use the extra power but just being able to say you do makes you feel good. I wish I could've gotten a GT but the parental units said no
