Default Air Bar Sensor for passenger seat

I have a vert GT on order, I was wondering if i am taking the kid around and she absolutely hates the back seat, does the weight sensor for air bag work, and does anyone know at what weight does it cut off/turn on?

I know it kicks on when my laptop is in the seat as well as my 65lb daughter, exact weights, I am not sure.

I have a six year old that only weighs 43 pounds and yes it deactivates when he drives in the front seat. The light comes on the dash saying so. I lost my car manual when I moved so I don't know what weight it goes up to. However I would figure that Ford did their job and made it to about the standard weight of what 110 pounds or so.

5 Year old sits up front and it's off... My laptop/backpack doesn't turn it off though.

it definitely works. put an adult in the seat with the belt buckled. have them lift their body weight upward and the light should come on. it will when my girlfriend leans over or lifts up to see something outside the car.
