RE: Auto Trans Burnout
I could do that... lol
Speaking of street legal, that's what was running last week at CA Dragway when we were there. You had to have current DMV registration, license plates and insurance to enter. The rules did not allow any passes quicker than 10.00. We pitted next to a guy who had a four-eyed fox body stang (not sure what year, but it was in the 87-93 range), with a 408 stroker in it. It sounded so frikkin strong!! On his first two runs, he clicked it off early and ran a 10.02 and a 10.40. On his last run, he stayed in it and went 9.70 (vs. a 9.80 by another stang next to him). Of course he was asked to leave then. So, he fired it up and drove it home... no trailer. That was an awesome street car!! He also told me it had run 9.40 before. Sheeeeesh...

Sounds like that buddy of mine with the twin turbo stroker 92LX. His usual comment is that he runs 9.9's, and it would do 9.5's if he had a driver mod
