Well I ordered some black deep dish bullets but they only had the 99-04 for the fronts 18x9s. I think with the offset they will stick out 1/2 inch so it might look weird. Or I can wait two weeks and get the right 18x9's for my 07 car. I'm not really in a hurry to get these rims and new tires. What do you guys think?

Since I did just replace my bald tires today with some that I bought off another member for a very cheap price. I did some great burnouts before I got the new ones put on. The driver rear tire was actually ripping off chunks of rubber and throwing them all over this empty back road. It was fun.

well what are they considering the right offset? i prefer about +35mm up front, i got a set of 96 cobra rims (+30) offset to ride on sometimes in the winter, and that seems to be as far as i want them to stick out. a lot of it is personal preference but for most of us +24 is a little too low.

Ok then I am going to just wait. Since the 99-04 rims would have the 24mm offset. and the 05+ rims would be 36mm I think.

It will be worth the wait. The 36mm offset fits just about perfect. What tire size are you install on your 18x9's?

Are the 99-04 rims OEM width of what?
Aftermarket 18x9s for the 05-09 S197?
OEM 18x8.5s have a 50mm offset.
So the 05+ rims with the 36mm offset
will also stick out.

Width effects offset unlike backspacing.

stick out more than stock, but not past the fender. +36 with a 255 looks perfect to me if you have 255s all around

I'm not sure. I know I'm just getting 18x9's for the front with 255/45/18 nitto invo tires and for the rear 18x10 with 275/40/18 nitto invo tires. Now I'm just getting all 4 for my model year mustang 05+ instead of the fronts being for a 99-04 stang.
