Driving home the other night I went to down shift to go up a short steep hill. I wasn't going that fast and didn't try to shift quickly but once I pulled it out of gear it wouldn't go back into any gear not even the gear I just shifted out of. It stayed this way as I was rolling up the hill, I let the clutch out in neutral for a minute and then I was able to shift it back into gear. Has anyone had a similar experience? I've heard of problems with these shifting into third and I've experienced that myself but I was trying to down shift from 5th to 4th and it wouldn't go into any gear. It didn't grind or anything just wouldn't go into gear?
