Ok so what are the pros and cons of the two, they're both 93 octane but what is really the differance between the two?

I use the race tune 99.9% of the time. It's a perfect DD tune for me b/c I love how the race tune has a very sensitive/touchy throttle. You do have to be careful in traffic as it can make you accelerate more than you expect. Once you get used to it it's not as bad but still have to watch it.

haha well I've been using the Race since like spetember when I got the tuner but I got 3 free so I also have the torque and I was just curious about it. Never used it.

i use the 93 race for dd.i try to use the 93 torque tune for two days but my butt dyno did not approved of it.
go 93 race and you will never go back to any other tune

Im ordering both tonight or tomorrow. Doug’s description on his site just about sums it up. It seems the torque is all about well, torque. Low end grunt that you would want for DD. I think he claims its 1500-3000 power. The race is for higher than 3000rpm power. When your drag racing or stuff when your rpms are mostly above 3000 rpm is where the race tune power is set at. When i called today, doug told me it really comes down to what you want out of it. Im getting 93 T,93 R and a 91 T tune so i can play with the T and the R tune while having a 91 safe tune incase i cant find 93 on a road trip.

hhm interesting, I lol'd at butt dyno lol good one! I remember reading about that now the 1500-3000 range for the torque.

everytime i install the torque tune it feels like if my car went back to stock tune.to me the 93 race has more get up and go type feeling.but testing them at the track both turned out the same times.

I had tried both the race and the torque tunes in 91 and 93 octane on both my 07 auto, and this 09 manual. In both cases I liked the race tune much better. Also, in both cases the 91 tune felt stronger.
