Default Opinions for our new side marker and fog light blackout kits

We are about to release our new acrylic molded side marker and fog light blackout kits. These will be a "Smoked" color and simply stick onto your stock lights. This leads to our question for your help! Should we use clear 3M tape or velcro to attach them?

While we're at it, would you guys/gals be interested in a headlight and tail light kit? Other than the standard GT Styling that is currently available?

Thanks for your thoughts and opinions.

Well, If I am understanding this correctly, i.e. that the lense cover would be a smoked clear, to let's say match a smoked corner, then I would say clear 3M. Seems to me that Velcro would show thru.....

I am SO subscribing for the smoked rear side marker. I want em, but don't want to spray or tint mine......

I just tinted my sidemarkers. It was easy. But I am trying to decide what to do with my rear tail lights and headlights since I want those blacked out.

Thanks guys. We will be posting pictures of the side marker and fog light blackout kits tomorrow. I think the clear 3M tape would be best too.

3m tape for sure. I'm interested to see them as well. I doubt I would do the fogs again but I would be interested in the side markers. I don't suppose you could get some pics of before and after light output for the fogs? I really liked the look of mine smoked but the loss of light output was really bad, if your product doesn't cut back so much light as the stangmods ones I might consider reapplying fog tint.

These are formed acrylic, the light output is hardly even touched. We'll post up pictures on Monday w/ w/o, etc.

I guess i misunderstood what these were. So they are more like permanent GTS style covers and not actual tint?

Lets see some pics cus I cant wrap my
brain around what you are describing.

How are these different from the good ol cheap
window tint application front turn signal blackout
method currently being used.

They sound like they might be some quality items.

You got it. Not the cheap tint that shows the little bumps where the DOT fits behind. These are molded covers.

Thanks!
