Hell, I probably vary 5-10hp depending on the daily weather conditions

Good point..one other thing to note GMS CAI, hmm... Sounds like hype to me. As they say dont believe the hype.

Haha. You guys are way too skeptical. I just happen to have a GMS CAI and the claims for that held up for me.

I bought a set of the GMS x-treme c.op.s last month, they are currenly on there way back to GMS. They lasted about a week, no way did they give me 27 hp. The car started to surge, at times it would develope a slight miss at idle, then they completely failed the car missed so bad I couldn't even drive it. I blamed everyting but the cop's, I changed plugs, tried three different types of fuel, as soon as I changed back to the stock cop's the car has now ran perfect for over a week. GMS said they would give me a new set, I said no way, now I will be charged a 15% re-stocking fee for defective parts.

Damn, you wouldn't happen to receive your paycheck from weapon-x?

I don't know what to believe anymore... I keep putting parts on the car, deciding what works and what doesn't myself but it gets REALLY expensive lol.

All I can say is that I haven't had any problems with my MSD cop's and I thought I could feel a slight difference, but not anywhere near what GMS is claiming. I mainly got them because they look better than the factory ones.

ha ha based on the descriptions of people who have them it's plausible that the cause of any significant results is that the Granatelli COP is so poorly manufactured that the randomness of it's spark is responsible for the big gains.

Either way:

No way they gained that much from COP's. What was the before and after numbers?

I have the accel coils and they have been running fine now for some time. I can't really feel a horsepower increase, but I noticed a much smoother exhaust tone and smoother acceleration.

Smoother acceleration would be how I would describe what I felt with the MSD's, kind of like how it felt after I installed my UDP's.
