Had my first car egged, and my second car (g35) and had to have the whole side of the G35 repainted. Good thing it only cost me 250. And I think it was some ricer kids that lived down the street from me. They always tried to mess with me while I was driving.

Now that I bought my own place I leave my car in my garage.

Also, a lot of people dont think eggs can damage paint and that only the yolk damages it if it sits. The shell is the thing that does the damage. It makes sort of a circle of little chips when it hits paint.

Are you going to do an insurance claim?

BTW my first car was egged 3 times (once by my ex, and twice while I was driving and they were just random eggings)

So i just got back from Tampa and looked inside my car expecting to smell a rotton old egg smell but nothing. Still smells like new car. My wife did an awesome job cleaning the inside. So i guess tomorrow i will contact a bodyshop and see how much its gonna cost. Lord help the people that did this if i find them. I am extremely OCD with that car.

Yep, had an egg thrown at my S10 years ago, and I'll also confirm that yes, an egg will destroy a paint job. The shell turns into little tiny blades on impact and just slices right into the finish, then the the egg yolk starts eating away at it.

LOL dude.. im laughing out loud. thats so funny to me, that people throw potatoes at cars. that sucks for you and is really douche for someone to do but seriously thats kind of funny
